What the prototype does now, and what would change if advertising or book checkout were enabled.
Website status (October 2026): This version has no advertising scripts, account registration, newsletter signup or shopping cart. Submitted interpreter questions are automatically recorded in a private Cloudflare D1 database when its binding is configured.
AI questions
If Cloudflare Workers AI is connected, questions typed into the interpreter are sent to the site's Cloudflare backend and processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to generate an answer. Do not send private medical, financial, legal or identifying information. The website automatically logs each accepted submitted question for philosophical research, error investigation and refining future answers. There is no opt-in checkbox. The short notice beside the question box explains this before submission. The site does not intentionally store visitors' names, IP addresses, email addresses, response texts or account identifiers in the question log. Obvious email addresses, URLs and number patterns in questions are removed before the log is written, but this is not guaranteed to remove every identifying detail. However, hosting and AI providers may process technical and request data under their own terms, policies and operational logging.
When the AI endpoint is used, every accepted question is submitted to the Cloudflare backend and is automatically logged where the D1 database is configured. The question guide also works in a local or AI-unavailable mode, using prepared explanations in the browser; locally prepared answers are not logged because no question is sent to the server. Prepared guide answers are explicitly labelled and are not represented as live AI responses. Short-lived technical rate limits may use the requester's IP address in temporary Worker memory, but the application does not add it to the permanent question log. Log records include submission time, redacted question, the source edition and chapter identifiers. The server never provides a public log-viewing endpoint. Research logs are retained for no more than approximately 90 days, with expired entries removed when the next logged question is inserted; if the site is inactive, separate operator cleanup is required. Cloudflare hosting and AI-provider operational logs are separately governed by their provider policies.
Hosting and technical data
Cloudflare delivers the site and may process IP addresses, request metadata and standard security or operational logs. The site does not add its own analytics script in this first version. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Advertising
Advertising is not currently enabled. If Google AdSense or another advertising provider is introduced, this page will be updated before activation to explain cookies, tracking, personalised advertising, visitor choices and any consent management necessary in jurisdictions where visitors reside. Advertising approval and earnings are not guaranteed.
Book payments
No payments are currently collected. When an edition is cleared for sale, any third-party bookstore link will be labelled. Payment processing and delivery will be governed by that provider's applicable policies, and the website will disclose the provider before taking visitors to checkout.
Questions about this page
Before the public launch, the site owner should add a working contact method for privacy enquiries. No address is published here because it has not been verified. A working privacy contact channel and relevant legal review must be added before promoting this site widely or enabling advertising. This notice must be reviewed whenever the live technical configuration changes.
